International Premiere at The Berlinale

HOW HEAVY THIS HAMMER, will have its International Premiere next month as part of the 66th Berlin International Film Fesitval in the festival’s Forum section. This marks the fourth appearance for Radwanski at the festival, having screened in the festival’s Berlinale Shorts Competition for 3 consecutive years.

HOW HEAVY THIS HAMMER centres on Erwin, a 47-year-old father of two, who spends his time idly procrastinating between work and family, and is seemingly more engaged by playing a crude Viking computer game. His listless energy is contrasted on weekends by throwing himself into ‘old boys’ rugby matches. As Erwin’s marriage with his wife becomes increasingly compromised, something stirs inside him… or maybe something has stopped stirring.

Director Kazik Radwanski and Producer Dan Montgomery will be in attendance. The festival runs February 11-21, 2016. For more information on the festival and program, read the press release here.
